Active Start Preschool Gymnastics (Co-ed, Ages 18 months to 5 years)

Participants are encouraged to attend FLIPS mini meets (session show) to demonstrate their progress.

Little Flippers (Caregiver assisted; Ages 18 months to 4 years)

Our Little Flippers class introduces younger children to gymnastics in the company of their parent or caregiver. Direction is provided by a certified coach. Children enjoy activities that promote body awareness, coordination, self-confidence and achievement. Specific equipment circuits are set up to encourage youngsters to walk, run, jump, roll and balance in a safe environment. Time will be allotted at the end of class for discovery play time and caregiver/child bonding time.

Everyone gets a good workout! For the most positive experience, it is recommended that care-givers refrain from bringing any cell phones into the gym during the class.

As progress through age/stage specific activities skills does not benefit from formal evaluation, a Certificate of Completion may be offered at the end of each session.

Flippin' Terrific (Ages 4 and 5 years)

This Flippin' Terrific class is for 4 to 5 year olds that are ready to learn without a caregiver! Children will enjoy independent learning while swinging, rolling, climbing, dancing and playing through structured, coach-led activities. Your gymnast will use age-appropriate equipment to learn rolls, swings, and various movement skills. Children will also work on taking turns, sharing, building social skills, and developing confidence.

As progress through age/stage specific activities skills does not benefit from formal evaluation, a Certificate of Completion may be offered at the end of each session.
