Once you are registered, we hope that nothing interferes with your child coming to Athabasca FLIPS Gymnastics. However, if you must cancel or transfer your child’s registration for our Summer Camps, please be aware of our cancellation and transfer policies:

All cancellations and adjustments are made in the form of account credit. Refunds must be requested in writing within a reasonable time of credit issue date.

For camps purchased at full price (not as part of punch-card or multi-pack):

• All cancellations are subject to a $10 administrative fee

• Cancellations more than 5 days in advance will be applied as a full-value account credit (minus admin fee)

• Cancellations 2 to 5 days before camp date will be applied as 50% of value (minus admin fee)

• Cancellations within 2 days of camp date may not be eligible for credit.

• Medical cancellations be granted full-value credit (minus admin fee) if accompanied by a medical certificate or doctor’s note must be provided.

• Once a credit is issued to an account, the credit amount can not be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Camp Punch-cards and/or Multi-packs

• Punch-cards/multi-packs must be used but members of the same online registration account (Jackrabbit).

• Punch-card/multi-packs value will be converted to account credit to be used at checkout to purchase core summer camp registration. Multipack credit will not be applied to early drop-off, late pick-up, or membership fees.

• Full Day punch-cards/multi-packs may only be used for Full Day camps of the current session. Half Day punch-cards/multi-packs may only be used for Half Day camps of the current session.

• Punch-card/multi-packs are not drop-in passes. Pre-registration for camps is required.

• Multipack credit is non-refundable and can not be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Unused portions of the credit will be reclaimed by FLIPS at the end of the summer (August 27, 2026).

 

If your child is ill or for any reason misses a portion of the day, we will not be able to provide a partial refund.

If Athabasca FLIPS Gymnastics must cancel a program offered at our facility due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control including but not limited to coach illness, extreme weather, environmental emergency, we will provide a full non-refundable credit on your online account for any missed dates. *Only Credits are available*

If a child can not adhere to staff instruction and safety requirements, they will be removed from the program and no refund or credit will be provided for the remainder of the camp.

Participants must bring their own snacks, lunch, and drinks (except for water). The camp is very active, so please ensure there is enough for your child. FLIPS is not able to provide food to campers.

In respect of our team’s time, please adhere to drop off and pick up times. Doors will open 10 minutes before start time. Late pick- ups will be assessed a $25 late pick up fee per child per instance. Extended hours may be available for purchase.

All waivers and paperwork must be completed PRIOR to drop-off. There are digital links and paper copies of waivers available at the gym. Please come in with your child at drop-off to ensure compliance. Children who do not have current waivers will NOT be allowed to participate.

Socks are to be worn if the participant has warts (to prevent spread). Tight fitting athletic wear is recommended, gymnastics clothing is best. Items with buttons, zippers, and/or hoods are not allowed due to safety concerns. Long hair is to be tied back using a soft elastic. All jewelry is to be removed, except for small stud earrings and for medic alert.

No electronics are allowed.
