CanJump Trampoline and Tumbling (Ages 7+ years)

The CanJump program allows athletes to develop their skills in trampoline and tumbling. Each step leads to more advanced skills. There are 12 different steps to help athletes develop flexibility, courage, strength, technique and landings in a safe environment.​

Please note that progress is child specific and it may take more than one session to master required skills There may be a fee for pre-program assessment.

CanJump Levels 1 to 4

CanJump levels 1-4 builds on the basic landings and shape jumps of trampoline. Participants will further develop body awareness on the trampoline by beginning to add twists and turns to their seat drops and front drops. Participants will also develop their tumbling skills as they learn dive rolls and handstands. While the athlete can advance faster in one discipline than another, all compulsory skills must be completed to advance to level 5 and beyond.

CanJump Levels 5 to 8

In levels 5-8, athletes will be introduced to inverted skills as well as complex skills and combinations to help increase spatial awareness. While the athlete can advance faster in one discipline than another, all compulsory skills must be completed to advance to level 9 d

​        * At least 8 years old AND one of:

         1. CanJump Bronze completion

         2. Coach assessment/placement

CanJump Levels 9 to 12

 In levels 9-12, advanced gymnastics and trampoline fundamentals are taught while increasing fitness levels and having tons of fun. While the athlete can advance faster in one discipline than another, all compulsory skills must be completed. 

​        * At least 10 years old AND one of:
        1. CanJump Silver completion
        2. Coach assessment/placement​

Online registration and payment to be completed prior to class.

You must create a profile (account) in Jackrabbit to complete payment. 

​Waivers and PIPA:

AGF waivers expire on Jun 30 and must be are to be completed again after July 1 for upcoming season (paper or electronic). Members who do not have completed waivers on file WILL NOT be allowed to participate (including caregivers and adults).

*Please note that adults participating in Little Flipper's or Preschool Drop-in are required to completed an Adult Waiver.

Volunteer and Fundraising Deposits 

FLIPS is a non-profit society that relies heavily on assistance from membership and the community to keep programs sustainable and cost effective. We kindly ask that all families (regardless of number of registrations) give back to the club through volunteer and fundraising initiatives.

 

Commitment deposits are due the first day of your class. As volunteer hours and fundraising targets are met, FLIPS will credit/refund a portion of the deposit.  Members who have not handed in deposits will be considered opt-out and will have the full amounts charged to the credit card on file on the next business day.
